How to Vote

Voting for this round has now closed. Please come back on when the winner will be announced and the next contenders featured.

What’s the prize?

The overall winners will not only claim the all-important Wedding of the Year title and a feature all about their big day in the magazine, they’ll also win a fabulous gourmet two-night stay at Nanteos Mansion, worth more than £800. The lucky couple will enjoy a full Welsh breakfast each morning and an à la carte dinner in the Nightingale restaurant with a complimentary bottle of wine each evening. And if that’s not enough to set your taste buds a-tingling, Nanteos is also throwing in a champagne afternoon tea on one day. Please note terms and conditions apply, dates are subject to availability.

If you’re looking for a wedding venue with real wow factor, look no further than Nanteos Mansion. Nestled in a hidden valley in the hills near Aberystwyth, this Grade I listed former country house has been lovingly restored and is now a luxury hotel. Licensed for ceremonies, the Georgian mansion boasts original features galore and a spectacular staircase made for grand entrances. Outside, there are 50 acres of grounds to explore, including a formal walled garden – perfect for a marquee – and ornamental carp lake. Chef patron Nigel Jones is on hand to help you plan every detail of your special day, from the menu to the best backdrops for those all-important wedding photos.

Looking for the new pompom? These painted metal 'barn stars', made by the Amish people of Pennsylvania, would look great hung from the ceiling or propped on a mantlepiece at a rustic do. They're said to bring good luck and ward off evil spirits to boot. Available in three sizes and six colours, prices start from £28. www.lovestruck

Readers' poll

Who cares more about your big day - you or your hubby-to-be?

Definitely me, all he has to do is turn up!
He'll be doing the 'man stuff' such as suits and cars but he hasn't a clue about flowers.
I've been surprised by how involved he wants to be - but the details are my domain.
He's the original groomzilla - he has an opinion about everything.
